This sword is a veritable eye catcher. The leather wrapped handle includes an underlay of real manta ray skin. The steel Tsuba has elaborate openings. The blade consists of high-grade forged 1045er carbon steel, is finely polished and has a sharp cutting edge. The wooden sheath, a so-called Saya, has a very unique workmanship and design. The otherwise black varnished sheath shows a long golden stripe and two equally golden decorations. A true showpiece.
