Real Steel History:

The CZ M75 was designed by the remarkable designer Frantisek Koucky, whose work was inspired by popular pistols of the time but improved heavily on their design template. Initially, the M75 was intended for use by Czech police, it was smaller and lighter than a traditional M1911 design with a slide that fit into the frame for smoother cocking and a sturdier build.

As its name implies, the 75D Compact is a smaller version of the original M75. Its reduced size makes the weapon lighter and therefore easier to carry whilst its reduced size allows this model to be used as a concealed weapon. Moreover, the “D” in its name refers to the de-cocking function the original real steel version had which allowed police officers more control and increased safety when using their firearm on duty.
